Shout Out For The Arts is a programme of work driven by young people and arts organisations across Warwickshire.
We work together to create opportunities for young people, so that they can ‘shout’ about, and shape, the arts and culture available to them.
We want to listen to, and help amplify, their voices.
Here’s what we have been up to in the last 2 years.
Youth–led
Young people are at the heart of what we do – this includes individuals aged 25 and under who live in Warwickshire.
We believe we should be listening to young people when it comes to accessing arts, culture and heritage – then we can help them experience these things how they actually want to. We also work across sectors to bring about positive change in our communities.
We’re driven by different ‘Youth Boards’ (groups of young people). We also work with students in schools and colleges, plus young people in community settings – they train to be Young Arts Ambassadors and share their projects and passions with their communities.

LECPs
We are one of the many ’Local Cultural Education Partnership’s (LCEPs) across England.
LCEPs support children and young people to fulfil their creative potential and access high-quality cultural experiences where they live, where they go to school, and where they spend their free time.
Partners come together from across sectors, responding to local needs and interests, to drive a more joined-up cultural education offer and share resources. LCEPs improve the visibility of cultural education in their local area.
Ours is the first LECP in the country to be youth-led.

Arts organisations
This project is delivered by our partner organisations who meet regularly to support the vision of the young people, strategically – find out more about them online.
