What an exciting year it has been and the art continues!
The Nuneaton and Bedworth Youth Board
We’ve teamed up with The Abbey Theatre in Nuneaton to hold the Nuneaton and Bedworth Youth Board (N&BYB) sessions again!
After a brief pause to reflect, partner and plan, we’re back, and on Wednesday 10 September 2026, our bi-weekly meetings began again.
The first step was for the Youth Board to look at the recommendations of young people from across the borough who had joined us for the recent Blue-Sky facilitated Discussion at the Eyes On Youth Creative Development event.
N&BYB have shortlisted from these ideas based on what they would like to co-produce and have chosen their first three projects.

The Hope Festival
Their first project will be for Hope Festival, a free festival celebrating arts, creativity and wellbeing which takes place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February 2026 at The Abbey Theatre.
We were at the last two years of Hope Festival and this will be the first time the N&BYB will co-produce a project for the festival itself.
Craftspace
Before then, however, the Youth Board will be visiting the Nuneaton Museum and Gallery to see an exhibition at Craftspace.
The exhibition, Made in the Middle, draws together 37 artists whose work highlights the innovative contemporary crafts made in the Midlands. It spans two galleries and promises to provide inspiration for anyone interested in making, seeing or buying craft.
The most exciting part is that two artists who are showing their work in the exhibition will be delivering workshops to the N&BYB!
