Young artists from Bedworth visit a Warwickshire art hub for a day of learning and capturing
In April, Compton Verney welcomed nine of the Bedworth Library mural young artists to tour the grounds and galleries. They were joined by two of the Nuneaton and Bedworth Youth Board members, two of Creative Explorer artists (Nathan Parker and Alisha Miller), their Assistant Headteacher and Head of Arts from Nicholas Chamberlaine School and our Shout Out for the Arts Coordinator.
Working in partnership, Shout Out for the Arts, Nicholas Chamberlaine and Compton Verney arranged for coach travel from the school for a day trip. The visit was filled with a complimentary tour, a talk from the curator, and a creative challenge. This was the first time all of the students had visited Compton Verney. Thanks for having us!
