Over summer, our new mural was unveiled. We’re delighted to introduce you to the young local artists behind this beautiful creation.
Earlier this summer, young artists of Nuneaton came together to plan and lead an epic mural that was to be painted on the side of the local library.
Through series of workshops, they discussed ideas, explored influences and learnt new skills from Nuneaton-born renowned street artist Nathan Parker (n4t4).
In these sessions, they workshopped texture, stencils, colour and much more. You can see their work in progress photos here.
Their final mural was created and unveiled at the start of the summer holidays.

Artists of today, leaders of tomorrow
A huge well done to the talented artists who have brought something so unique, creative and well-thought out, to their town.

Expanding ideas
”Having the opportunity to be part of this project was incredible. To work alongside an amazing street artist and learn so much about spray paint was very inspiring and eye-opening for me. We expanded ideas and learnt techniques. Also working alongside other young artists who were also new to the art form was comforting and encouraging – we were all able to collaborate, we built up such a group! I have a new love for the medium and the effect street art has on the world. [The mural] demonstrates what we want for Nuneaton. In September I will be going to University to study illustration – I can’t wait to try everything and street art is no exception to this”
