So much art on the streets in Nuneaton!

On 11th August GRIT Art Central presented the first Art On The Streets in Nuneaton’s town centre.

Nuneaton was alive with art and music between 11am-4pm.

Large-scale artwork on lorries filled the streets alongside the sounds of DJ sets and the scent of street food stalls.

Crowds flooded the town centre as it was transformed into a vibrant art festival.

With live street art, spoken word performances and local stories being told on stage there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The residents of Nuneaton also got the chance to view our recently completed Nuneaton Mural Project.

Shout Out For The Arts had a stall at the event too, we loved saying hello to lots of you!

“This was such an exciting day! Loads of music and art all around town and a really buzzing vibe in the sunshine. We had a stall showing off the amazing work of the mural artists and had lots of great comments from the public on how impressive it was. I was particularly thrilled to hear from older members of the public on how proud they were of the young people who took part and how skilled they were at creating such a large scale artwork for the town.”
