And, we’re off! We’re now into the second week of our collaborative mural project for young people.

If you’ve been reading our blogs you’ll know that The Nuneaton Mural Project started this week.
It kicks off a programme of exciting creative events in Nuneaton & Bedworth that are happening throughout the summer – check it out.
Want to be part of it?
The applications for this project have now closed. But don’t forget, we will be replicating this project in Bedworth later this year so stay tuned.
Plus, if you’re a young person passionate about art, why not join our Youth Board? Come and co-produce your own art events!

A week in photos
During their first few workshops, young people of Nuneaton have been discussing the history of street art, what a piece of street art could mean to the town, and how their ideas can come together to form one final piece.
They have explored the influence of Nuneaton and its artists on their own creative output and workshopped texture, stencils and much more together.
As you’ll see, we’re getting ready for the real thing too – the artist running the workshops and training, Nathan Parker, cleaned and prepped the outdoor wall this week too! We can’t wait to share the young people’s final mural with you.
