A summer of exciting art events in Warwickshire has just been announced!
Performances, festivals, carnivals, so much more, all celebrating the cultural identity of Nuneaton & Bedworth. Browse events online as and when they appear, or download the brochure.
We’re part of it!
We are delighted to be part of this summer of creativity with two projects of our own which allow young people to showcase their talent and explore future arts jobs.
The Borough Mural Project
Firstly, The Borough Mural Project will see a group of young people work together to create an epic mural in the town centre.
Those involved will attend workshops in July during which they will train with professional artists, including renowned graffiti artist Nathan Parker (n4t4) and visual artist Alisha Miller.
Through Arts Ambassador workshops, they will learn the techniques of spray painting, develop the knowledge required to deliver an arts project of this size and collaborate to plan their big creation. They will create their final artwork outside, in Nuneaton town centre.
Their mural will form part of ‘Art on The Streets’, a day of inspiring creativity on 11th August in Nuneaton. The town centre will be transformed by live art, large-scale artworks on lorries, stage performances, music and much more!
The Borough Mural Project will be replicated in Bedworth later in the year, giving the young people of this area the chance to design and create their own mural in the same way.

Creative Careers Week
This year, our Nuneaton & Bedworth Youth Board will work together to co-create a series of careers opportunities for their peers to learn more about working in creative jobs.
This will end with a final week of events that they have produced which will run from 18th to 22nd November 2024. This will include panel discussions, active workshops, and networking opportunities.
